Our Experienced Staff
	Tom Young….. As Owner and President of Southeastern Driving Academy, Tom is the Classroom Instructor as well as the Lead Instructor for in vehicle instruction. He has developed over the past 5 years a well planned approach to improving the skills and safety of new drivers. Tom and his wife Joellen moved to Hilton Head in 2003 after a corporate career which took them global. He chose early retirement only to discover that his energies needed to be used for more then golf and tennis. As he had always wished to teach and enjoyed the challenge of the teenage years, the purchasing of Southeastern Driving Academy was the perfect plan.

	Trudy Hill…. As the founder of Southeastern Driving Academy in 2003, “Miss Trudy” as she is fondly known is our most experienced instructor. Miss Trudy began the Academy in Bluffton as she realized that the Bluffton High School student driving program was not sufficient for the needs of the growing student body. She began with classes in her home and started all the seeds for the Program the local students enjoy today. Due to marriage and family considerations, Miss Trudy sold the business in early 2006 to the current owner. Miss Trudy has continued to work with Southeastern Driving at varying times and is again a full time instructor.

	Joellen Young.... She is the voice of Southeastern Driving Academy and will answer all your questions and provide you with the information you need for the program. She handles the scheduling and helps with the classroom instruction.
